BARAGI steeped bellflower tea pouch, with an illustrated ingredient label

Key ingredients

The main ingredient is a 60%-solids concentrate made with the same steeping process used in the bellflower candy. Liquorice and pear concentrates balance the flavour.

  • Pear concentrateKorea
  • Liquorice concentrateLiquorice: Uzbekistan
  • Citric acid monohydrate
  • Purified water

The blend, and how it is used

The bellflower root is not powdered. It is cold-steeped and extracted under a patented process into a concentrate with 60% solids. The origin of the raw material is confirmed by an origin certificate.

Liquorice and pear concentrates balance the flavour, and citric acid monohydrate adjusts the tartness.

Herbal pharmacists trained at Kyung Hee University inspect and formulate the ingredients; Daedong Koryo Ginseng makes it in a HACCP certified facility.

This product is a food, not a medicine for the prevention or treatment of disease.
